Hi all,
This osprey shot was captured in Florida right after sunrise. I'm not usually keen on overhead shots (or clipped wings) but I thought this was kinda a fun frame showing an osprey's stare. In post, I did some light noise reduction on the bird and background, sharpened, and brought down some of the side light highlights as well as cropping to make the clipped wings symmetrical. The shadow on the bird's right eye is unfortunate in my opinion but is what it is I guess.
Camera: Nikon D500
Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
Specs: 1/1600 ISO 1400 f/5.6
Thanks for looking!
Alex
