Some trees just don't make it in the Namib.

Hi Loukie,
this one works for me. Do you have a bit of room on the left........you clipped a bit of the tree but that is very minor. The dramatic sky and the balance of the darker mound against the orange tones works very well as does the placemnt od the tree in the frame. A lower angle also may have worked in this image but I like this as presented. Well done!

Certainly the best you have presented in this series. Agree with Roman's suggestions and comments on why it works. I might only suggest that walking right so that the BG mountain on the right was not intersecting with the right branch on the tree. Minor tweak just like Roman's cut branch - but the small touches are what make good images great.

Keep up the good work - looking forward to more of your images.

I love the sky. Excellent suggestions by Roman and Robert. I disagree however that clipping the branches is minor. We need to take great care in framing... And Robert is right that attention to small detail is what improves our overall body of work.
