Nice capture of this owl! I love the glossy eyes, and the mossy perch! If it were mine I would do a vertical crop, and also remove the strand of moss hanging down near the bird.

Another great shot of this guy. I've been hoping to photograph one for a while now but no luck. I feel that the face could use a bit more sharpening but could also just be that it has soft feathers. I don't mind the one piece of hanging moss as I feel it sets the scene but you could try to crop a bit tighter or clone out of the moss on the left edge as I find that a bit distracting. TFS
