First off welcome to BPN. You will have a fun time here and hopefully learn a few new tricks along the way.
Nice looking Mallard portrait and I really like the BG colors on this one. The open bill is a big bonus and the overall exposure and details look good.
I think I wouldn't push the ISO on that rig much more than you are at. Some selective noise reduction to the BG would smooth out the texture better.

Thanks David! Still very new to all this, I've found that for wildlife ISO-1600 is my absolute limit with this camera. If I could do it over I'd have taken the shutter down to 1/640 to save on ISO. Always learning here
