Taken whilst patiently waiting for dippers. I even managed to get sharp images of them mating......whilst they were facing entirely the wrong way!

A nice shot, Jonathan. How much have you cropped this - I find them to be flighty little things and hard to get close to.

I have been a few years to capture them doing their acrobatics catching insects over a river in the autumn - I have got close a couple of times but will keep trying.

Mike it is a crop to 3232 x 2308, they are indeed flighty, sometimes I can get to within say 6-7m but usually 9-10m.
