Somebodies Nest?

In the barren Deadvlei Area of Sossus Vlei there is a nest with an occupant Canon EOS DI MKII, 100 - 400 mm lens

Hi Loukie,
you placed the tree wll in the frame and the lighting is good. I would not have noticed the nest if you haven't mentioned it........but it does stand out. The brighter sand at the top is a bit distracting and I don't know if you could have gotten higher to get the top branch in the darker area or much lower to get more of the tree in the lighter sand...........still, composed well.

Roman has some good points. Perhaps a wider angle and moving closer would have gotten the BG more in tune with the tree. Still I like the look of the image and agree with Roman the top bright sand grabs your eye a lot.
