Captured this image at sunrise four days ago in the Circle B Bar Reserve, a lifer for me. It was fun getting him posing between the jungle of hanging Spanish Moss. C&C welcome.

D500, Nikon 500mm f/4G + 1.4 TC, 1/320s, f 5.6, ISO 3200, Gitzo tripod, Wimberley Gimbal head.

Geoffrey I would have to be very picky to find fault with this ,the Owl itself looks excellent especially the face and it's eyes,Owl caught in it's natural habitat, beautiful!

This looks awesome Geoffrey!! Although it isn't looking at you, I still like the peering eyes and the hunched over posture of this pose. Great look at the feet and the perch looks cool too. The real killer component of this frame is the habitat and the hanging Spanish moss.
Part of me wants to brighten it up just a bit but it might take away from the nice mood to this frame. One of your best!!

Wonderful looking frame Geoffrey. Fantastic feel coming from all around. It looks so 'natural'. Very well done mate

Great pose; great habitat. Lighting conditions were tough, which you made work to your advantage. Well done.

Killer image and habitat. My only suggestion would be to crop to the lower branch so all you see at the bottom is the branch and not what's underneath.
