Taken very early in the morning just after leaving camp as the sun slowly rose up. Others we had tried to get close to just flew, but these were more intent it seemed, on just feeding, which allowed us to get closer.

Wonderful symmetry in your image. I like the lighting on the back of the Crane. If it were mine I would try bringing up the exposure / shadows a bit.

Very nice Steve, as was your eagle image with the same crop. I love the pose on the cranes. Nice POV and all looks natural.

Well seen Steve love the symmetry it's just fabulous !!! Killer framing and pov. Simply, I want the birds heads to "lift more" Steve, sorry vague, more light to them. Maybe it's a big ask with the light so soft and that dark red front of head set against the bank reflection? Maybe this would make things unnatural I am unsure ,but that is what grabbed me on the off . Stunning detail as always mate,is the waterline running through both sets of eyes deliberate Steve?

very cool the way the shapes work together,
