The NamibRand Nature Reserve lies on the border of the Kalahari desert and the Namib desert. It's a place of immense open spaces and immense beauty. I long to walk these dunes again!

Hi Morkel
Nice scene well composed and well processed as well I think. Purists might object to the tracks but they form a nice lead for me, and the soft pastel pallet is beautiful. I too would love to follow you through this sort of country..

It is a beautiful image with beautiful soft light and colors. The leading line road adds to the composition.

Nice work here Morkel...looks like a great landscape to go for a stroll in...the road makes this scene work very well!

This image gives me the feeling of being in Africa, I don't think you can ask anything more from a landscape image.

Peaceful image, Morkel. I can imagine the quite stillness you must have experienced while capturing this scene. The soft light is wonderful.

Love this landscape, and the composition is perfect in my opinion. Lovely.

Love this kind of landscape. to the purist the road isn't exactly a curve, but that's less important. My guidelines say to use iso lowest as possible, why 560 iso?

Thanks everyone.
Valerio - was shooting handheld on auto ISO as I was exploring the dunes on foot.
