You did a good job panning the duck. You could have used ISO 800 @ 1/2500s., always better to put those extra speeds on your side with BIFs! Top wing looks great, artistically I wish the lower one was extended even lower. As for your question: yes, the BG would look better solid white IMO - the various spots serve as distractions.

Thank you Daniel, I was shooting at something else and these ducks fly so fast and so low that I almost didn't have time to react. I felt lucky I was able to get this set.

Here's the repost with an almost solid white background. I used the stamp tool with 50% opacity.
