30D, Sigma 180, 1.4x, 1/50 sec, f8, iso 100, -2/3EV, tripod, MLU, remote release, ~90% of original frame

This is great!!!!! I love the way the lighting goes through the wings. And that little bit of spider web. Stunning.

Have never seen one of these back lit B4... VERY nice affect (effect??? I always get those confused:confused:) and composition!

Great shot, I think the whole picture is superb. The strong back lighting is very effective. I don't know if you are able to take more shots like this but I wonder if it would be possible to retain the back lighting effect and still put a little fill lighting in without destroying the back lighting effect. Perhaps this would work but I wouldn't want to destroy the atmospheric effect you have achieved.
