This little beauty should be far south by now, but once again we found him on a swatch of trees and brush across from a sewer treatment plant. He is often joined but other types of warblers who also should be into the deep south by now. We figure the warmth from the treatment ponds keep insects around throughout the winter months providing plenty to dine on. C&C welcome.

Geoffrey treatment plants are certainly the place to be(my wife often comments to how many we have stopped in at in different parts of the world).You look like you got pretty close to this one giving you some fine detail and lovely natural colours,think the raised wing gives a nice impression of movement.Very nice work.

Handsome warbler. Those treatment ponds sure offer a good micro-habitat for overwintering songbirds! I like the pose you got here. Artistically I do find it rather large in the frame, and the BG seems splotchy in spots.
