Canon 30D, 24-105@28, 1/10s, f8, ISO 320. Photo taken in 2007 in Jiuzhaigou Park in China. I found this image while looking for something else and was initially puzzled by its upside down look. Then I realized that the only element of the image that was above water were the three branches in the LRHS of the image.
Maybe I should have left it in the unprocessed pile, but it is starting to grow on me. CC much appreciated.

It is indeed unusual, my eyes constantly rove around the image and seem to begin rest at the branches you mention, and finally on the brown central branches.

I also find it to be an interesting image...I love the sunken pine tree in the mountain's reflection on the left side of the comp....I would prefer to not see the branches in the lower right corner as they pull my eye too much

Liking the deep colours and the interesting perspective here Doug.
I do agree those twigs at the bottom are a distraction.
