I've yet to see a bunchberry I didn't want to photograph. And even after years, the more I look at them the more different ways I see of expressing them.

Not to mention, green is my favorite color. :D

Canon 30D, Canon 100 f2.8 macro, iso200, 1/250 @ f2.8

Beautiful composition on this. Really exquisite! The saturation of greens is perfect and the detail and sharpness is right there. It's lovely.

Hey Steve, I also agree that the bunchberry is a very cool looking plant and hope to get a chance to shoot them. I lwould have like to seen the flower fully opened, and I like the DOF. I don't usually like to see flowers bulleyed, but I think it would work well here with the leaves balancing both ends.

Mike, I've got thousands of bunchberry images (easily one of my favorite flowers to photograph), including some that are just as you suggested. I swear I've got so many pictures of the darn things that I could produce a picture book with just the veritable bunchberry as the subject. I'll post up a couple other views as the summer progresses. :)
