As I was getting things prepared to compose I heard the geese honking so I quickly took a hand held shot hoping that 1/30 sec would prove OK.

Thhis is really nice Johnathan I really like how the light falling on the landscape contrast with the areas in shadow, You have a strong leading line with the stream and the Geese are a nice finale note to the viewer.

It really draws me in. I just think you may have pushed contrast and saturation a bit?

The light here is beautiful, Jonathan! I agree with Morkel on contrast and saturation. I also think a slight CCW rotation would be good.

Hi Jonathan...love this one and the incoming geese really add a nice bit of interest to the scene. I would also back off on the contrast just a touch....great capture!

This is one of those captures that brings me into it. I feel like I just crawled out of my tent, cranked up the tiny stove, and was sitting there sipping on my coffee. Great piece Jonathan.
