Hi Stuart,
I like the affect here with the very shallow depth of field and critical focus on the eye of the frog which has an interesting pattern. Neat image.

Stuart the image is presumably a set up so I am guessing you have some with a smaller aperture? Exposure sharpness and detail excellent but for me the DOF is too shallow, I think his nostril should be in focus.

Hi Stuart...I agree with Jonathan's critique...have you considered using flash for your studio set-up...it will make the colours pop and allow you to easily use an f-stop of around f16, which should yield sufficient DOF for these tiny frogs.
