I remember sharing this image a couple of years ago when it was freshly taken, but here it is again for the theme. For those interested, here is a short and fun blog post about how it all came about:

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/160s., f/11, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, FF, a few distracting highlights removed / toned down from the BG.

Wow love this frame. Only thing I might have tried would have been cloning out the last bit of hanging vegetation before it goes out of frame. The detail is awesome especially that you can see the serration along the inside of the bill edge.

Kind of ridiculously good Dan. Love the position of the frog and the composition. How do you get sharp results hand held at 700mm at 1/160th? Must be freakishly strong.

ouch! poor frog I feel bad for his miserable death. Excellent frame Dan, such is life for a frog, I agree with getting rid of the vegetation near the btm edge
