....or some sort of dragonfly. Out of my area here. Shot from van window at about 15ft,
just above mfd for this lens and didn't have any tubes with me. Rested on beanbag.
Hot evening sun, ISO 800, f/11, 1/400, +.67EV

critique much appreciated as always
(BTW, that's not halo on the tail and the branch was way hot)

I like the razor sharp details on the wings and the colors hues on your subject...good show Sir...:cool:

Dave, that's great. I like the crop, and the BG plays equally well setting off the warm tones of the dragonfly's body and the highlights and blacks in the wings.

Terrific shot, the composition and colours the exposure, I also like the subtle frame colour which complimens the dragonfly. All round cracker of a shot!
