Loukie...cool image of what I assume is a flower. Is this just a normal type flower or is it sort of a flycatcher type plant?

No Bill it is a normal flower of the plant they don't catch flies but the catch is they are pollinated by flies, yes the general name is Carion Flowers now you know why they are visited by flies, but the whole pollinating mechanisms geared for flies, Regards Loukie

Hey Loukie, Very cool plant, nice shatrp details on the flower. and well done on the DOF, only part that bothers me is the lower left corner, which looks like a rock. Don't know if you could have changed your shooting position but always view the image from all angle for the best BG.
