A nice head-on pose with good detail throughout your subject! IMO, the spider webs add interest (though others may disagree). The background is pleasingly OOF, but the bright areas are drawing my eye away from the dragonfly. Also, the tip of the perch seems overly bright. I think the image would be noticeably stronger if you selectively toned down those areas. (This would be fairly easy if you have Nik Viveza 2 - a photoshop plugin - on your computer.) :S3:

Very nice indeed, I would suggest though that optical performance would not be optimal at such a small aperture. I agree with Steve's comments regarding brightness.
Viveza and Color Efex are very useful tools to have available.

I felt the splay of light areas in the bg contrasted with the 4 wings and added some backlight
