looks pretty nice Rachel, both have a good HA and the open beak adds more interest, only wish for a softer light
well done

Right up my street Rachel, think you have got the colours of these superb looking birds spot on,calling one just gives the image just a bit more interest ,agree with Arash re the light but we have to use what we have.

I agree about the light, but you handled it well and ended up with a rather pleasing image of this pair.

Hi Rachel, colours are spot on, and I like that you have two in the frame, and one with an open beak. I do like your natural OOF BG, and that they are perched on a thin perch.

Will send you a mail later, as we were in Kruger for the weekend. :w3

Great shot Rachel! These birds are on top of my bucket list. The light’s not perfect but we have to work with what we have. Do you have some shots of them coming at the perch?
Thanks for sharing!
Kalin

Thanks Kalin. No shots of them flying. These two were already perched when we approached and stayed there while we took the images.

Thanks again,
Rachel
