How cool is that! Memorable moment I am sure. Great low angle, and that gave you a very good background for the subject to stand out. Odd perch, but it did get it off the ground. It looks like critical focus is on that perch (and talon) - I'm sure that an additional round of sharpening to the face would help for this web version.

Chris, nice shot, the whites seem a bit hot, nice BG, HA and angle.
I don't care for the dark vignetting around the subject but that can be removed.

Well done. I like it!Also for me could better without dark point. More sharp on the eye and face could be better

Nice find! Good low POV. Yes to a tad more sharpening on the head.

Great POV, another vote for sharpening the head area. Unusual perch for a peregrine. Well captured.

Hello All, and thanks for the comments. Yes, I need to learn how to sharpen for the web as it seems better in print. And yes I agree that in this smaller version the vignetting is a little harsh. I just printed this 20 x 30 and the vignetting is not to overbearing but could still be toned in some.

Nice-looking frame. I really like the raised foot and the colorful background. Yes to a little more sharpening but besides that a really nice capture.
