Peregrine aerial maneuver

This frame is from a juvenile Peregrine Falcon banking hard. The falcons can do very impressive in-flight maneuvers reminding me of the movie "top gun". I wish the top wing was more visible but I still like the dynamic element in this frame

I like the sharpness right through the bird. It is sharp from the tip of it's beak to the end of the tail feathers. It looks as if it is coming to get you.
Nice even light on the bird. Was it an overcast day? If so then it has helped the exposure as there is no burn out or dark shadows. Just a really super image.

I agree with you about the top wing, but the straight-on screaming look and splayed tail make this one for me (and of course the usual IQ). A beauty.

Pretty darn coo. The top wing's position helps portray the hard banking manoeuvre, therefore in this case I am OK with it not showing as much as you would like. I love the bit of talon showing.
