Taken on some rocks at West Kirby marina at high tide. Finding the birds and getting close is tricky but not too difficult, finding one in a presentable situation is not so easy. All comments welcome.

Lovely relaxed pose with it's fluffed out plumage just the way I like to see birds,natural feather detail is excellent ,very well done Jon.

I really like the feather colours and textures! Nice sleeping pose, I love it when they open their eyes while resting. The grey BG works well. If the BG was OK below what we see I'd have pointed my lens down a touch more.
