Love weeds especially backlit ones. Is this proper? Does it work? Thanks!

This is absolutely stunning, Nonda!!!'The only imperfection I can see are the clipped leaves on the left, but if you crop them, you'd leave the flowers in the right without a stem. Maybe a little more room at the bottom would have been the ticket.

Lovely work!

I am always amazed at what you see that never even registers in my pea brain! Thanks Fabs! Glad to be on the right track with this type of image, I love making them.

It sure works for me, Nonda! You sure hit the jackpot with that beautiful backlighting.

My type of image Nonda - just love the back lighting that the texture of this weed lends itself to. I like it a lot!!

This is a very nice picture. Maybe some of the stuff on the bottom could have been left out; but it makes one wonder at the opportunities in ones own backyard.

Looks good to me too, we have something that looks like this in the UK - i.e. Teasel. It makes a great perch for finches - especially Goldfinches who love the seeds. Once the seeds are gone you can sprinkle thistle or niger seeds in the heads and the birds will return for them.

Jonathan is right -- this is Teasel. I love the dried stalks, finding them much more interesting than the live flowers.

Nonda - You nailed it with the backlighting to best highlight them. For even more emphasis on this subject, you may consider finding a grouping of these stalks that don't have so much overlapping in the upper middle of the image where the 3 buds merge together.
