I very much like the subdued colors. They work very well and create a mood of wondering if all will go well with this low floating boat. The clouds are lovely, but to my eye, they clash with the crispness of the ware. They are too soft.

You are right. The foreground is sharp, but I used Impression on the background. I have to rework this...

Mitch, it's the waterline/horizon that seems too sharp to me - it's the first thing I noticed. I like everything else about it!
