Last week while I was away I made several trips via canoe into the wetland on Horseshoe Lake to photograph Bullfrogs. On this morning the conditions were perfect for rainbows, as shortly after sunrise, fast approaching rains storms were moving in from the west. I could here the rain approaching as it made its way over the forest in the distance so I quickly put a polarizer on my 18-35mm lens to enhance the rainbow and created several frames before packing my gear away safely and paddling home through a torrential downpour. Unfortunately the vegetation in the wetland is not in prime condition as it has now started to die off for the coming winter.
