Apologies for not being around for a while, but I have not had an internet connection for a while, and work has also got in the way. :w3 This is a Cape Vulture coming in to feed on a carcass. These birds descend from the surrounding mountains, and we capture them from within a hide that has a one way glass face, so we can see them circling high in the sky. There is only room for 4 photographers to shoot through the 4 small sliding glass windows, although there is plenty room in the hide for others to view these birds as they descend and feed. I am off there this coming sunday for another shoot, and hoping to capture lots of action.

Great pose. The tones on the bird look quite warm. And the dead centered BKGR tree was bad luck.

wow, I thought it had a large head with a long bill, with something on the end. a closer look revealed the bill was actually its neck, that is quite a double take haha
