Love the bird, the lovely BKGR with the o-o-f whatever-they-ares, and the somewhat curious pose. Ideal would have been to focus on the bird and swing the lens to our left to put the bird much more to the right, thus including more of the interesting BKGR upper left. The crop addresses in my repost addresses the image design somewhat but it would have been much better to swing the lens to our left...

The eye was a bit funky (from the reflection of the sky) so I did a bit of Eye Doctor work and then sharpened the face with a Contrast Mask.

ps: I am pretty sure that some folks will recommend toning down the bright area below the perch just a bit...

I like it, Dan. The interesting pose and unique background make it appealing. I noticed the funkiness of the eye, and Artie's repost helps this and other issues. Yes, I'll vote for toning down the brightness just below the perch.
