Captured this image of one of Icelands more spectacular waterfalls last month. This was one of several beautifully overcast days. C&C welcome.

Just to the left of the first falls, up on the ridge where the darker foliage starts to lighten, is a small flock of about six sheep.

Hi Geoffrey.

Very spectacular falls and a great composition. Well done..! I also like your choice of shutter as it retains detail in the water and the mist swirling around the base.. My only critism is that there are shadows along the side of the water top of falls (and other spots too) that look like they pushed a bit too hard, so the gradient between light and shade looks un-naturally abrupt.. Might be wrong here but over all i think is a great image..

Very spectacular, Geoffrey! I love the processing and the toning. I think the dark "shadows" around the top of the falls are just areas with different colors or vegetation. But I see Don's point to make the transition less abrupt in this mono rendition.

Wonderful image well composed and perfect shutter speed for the falls. Wonderful overcast skies you must be British:S3:

While I like the B & W processing, I like a bit slower ss but that is subjective.
I am surprised no one commented that it needs clockwise rotation, water falls vertically.
