Groundscraper Thrush
Rietvlei Nature Reserve, South Africa
Canon 7d Mkii | 400mm f2.8 | ISO 640 | f4 | 1/1250 sec | Exp 0 | Small crop / curve / contrast
These beautiful thrushes make great subject matters, and a dry, winter background gives a different look and feel to the image. I look forward to any comments or criticisms. Thanks in advance!

Great detail, really love the low angle and I like the composition of the crop. If I was going to do anything I might clone out the two dark pieces of ground clutter and the light OOF diagonal directly below the thrush.

Very nice, great POV. The bird shows real well against the BG colours. Maybe a wee bit more sharpening on the bird ?

Lovely bird and image. The breast spotting is reminiscent of that on young American Robins. Ditto all above especially the wish to see the bird's feet.

Nicely done with the low angle. Good details. I love the sharp line of grasses. I do find the grey band skimming across the head unfortunate but it is still a strong image.
