I love these birds, the first one I saw was shortly after moving to Florida fifteen years ago while playing golf. Before that I never knew they existed, never did I think I would be photographing them now. Last week on the way home from Circle B Bar Reserve I stopped by Lake Mirror in the center of Lakeland, Florida. I was happy to see two Wood Stork families at the northeast side of the lake where the birds congregate. So important to see adults with young because the conditions for these birds to breed need to be near perfect and the habitat is threatened. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.
