Reworked a file from the archive. This is a blue hour shot but I feel like B&W gives it a more classic, timeless quality. Tonality worked on LR and then Nik SEP for the conversion.

Nice, I like the soft water motion capture. could use a little brightening maybe. ~MT

Sorry for the slow response Adhika, just back from Holidays. I like the B&W conversion and the sea especially. I think I would like a little more room between the rock and the RHS border however. Maybe consider extending the canvas??

Composition and BW are great. This is a lovely scene. I'm not sure how I feel about the ghosting on some of the cormorants due to the long SS. Not sure if this could have worked, but could you have shot one image with fast SS for the cormorants (including the top of the rock) and a second one with the long SS for the water, blending the two together in PP?

I like it - but also think the whites are a bit grey and muddied, open up highlights and whites in the histogram a bit and it will surely pop!

Hi Adhika...I like this scene a lot but is a touch dark for my tastes...with the few tweaks Morkel mentions it will surely pop!

Like this a lot, Adhika. The quality of light is wonderful and like how the Cormorants stand out. I would like to see a bit more detail in shadow areas, and feel the tangency of the rock on RHS might be solved by cropping in about 1/2".

I love the image design (but for the need for a bit more space on the right), the degree of blurring in the water, and the B&W treatment. The motion blur on the birds is problematic. You could clean most of that up by working large with the Clone Stamp Tool.
