Another puffin returning to the borrow with a beak-full. I chose this area for the BG and hunkered down as it was very windy and cold. I was without my bag of goodies for a day during this shoot as the airport forgot to load my bag... I like the lone fish eye!

Wow, Ann, you picked a really good BG. I, too, like the single fish eye. The face area is a little too crunchy for my taste, maybe reduce the sharpening a little bit?
This is another example why you shouldn't check in your camera equipments, right?

I like the many fish hanging from his beak but wish the bird had not intersected with the shoreline and a better wing position. The image is over sharpened as Adhika mentioned it is also too contrasty and the shoulder whites are blown with no detail

no excuses, sure with both of you, i particularly don't like the crunchy lack of detail in face and the blown shoulder whites, thanks, ann

Fantastic capture and I can see why you would want to sharpen it. I really like it you chose a good BG
