My first comment is wow! Well done the focus is very good indeed I like the colours as presented but you may wish to consider lowering contrast a tad I think this might impart a slightly less intense colouration.
This is a moth that I get very rarely in my garden and I have never been able to get a shot of one yet, I know it is far from easy and you did marvelously.

Hi Janet,
Very nice catch of a very tough subject. Really like the composition. Angle and pose is terrific.

I am jealous--I start shaking every time I see one, and naturally have yet to get a decent capture. Great focus on the moth, and the flower. Background is wonderful too. For my taste, less contrast.

Not easy for sure! I just photographed my first one just this week...but it was motionless on leaf in the early morning coolness. Good comp an wing position. Just enough Milkweed showing. I do wonder about the ghosting effect found around the flower though (especially the top ).

Wow, not a easy image to capture. Nice detail with a bit of that wing movement. Well done
