Not sure why there haven't been any comments on this photo yet, because it captures some great feeding behavior! Good exposure and the parent is sharp. The chick seems a little soft, and I'd like better eye contact from both birds. That said, I wish I'd been out on the water with you photographing loons! Thanks for posting!

Great angle, light and exposure control. I like the moment captured and would add a bit room at the left and remove the specular highlights on the parent's bill.
