Nice sharp image Arash, I know what you mean about the decline of raptors do to the drought.
We sure have taken a hit down here in SO. CA.

Not like we used to be, there's a hot spot here and there so, I guess I'm just spoiled thinking about the good old days from a few years back.

Love seeing these shots where the bird just catches a shaft of light against a dark BG. The techs are to be expected from your good self, and although it's not the the most dynamic of wing positions, we do get to see more of that great light under the wings and the fanned tail. They eye pops nicely as well.

Lovely light and this raptor works so well against that dark BG. Great job on handholding @ 1200!

We have the opposite problem over here with regular downpours to the point that there are no shorelines for the birds to forage and nest. Our biggest state park has been closed 2x this year and folks could actually kayak or canoe down the main road.

A wonderfully lit image Arash, that makes the flair of wing and tail feathers really stand out, displaying an almost gem-like clarity that is, for me, the hallmark of your work. The positioning in the frame is just right for this configuration and I especially like the subtle influence on the overall impression of the little glare of light you left on the right margin.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/57531f7a/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

Yes, I like the young bird set against the dark BG too. The details and colors look perfect. Well done and yes, lucky you.
