This in-camera Art Vivid HDR image was created on the evening of Day 3 of the second Palouse IPT with the Induro (https://www.outdoorphotogear.com/search.php?search_query=indurogrand&rfsn=132487.5cf37.9906) GIT 304L/Mongoose M3.6 (http://birdsasart-shop.com/mongoose-action-head/)-mounted Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Lens with Internal 1.4x Extender (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/973129-REG/canon_5176b002_ef_200_400mm_f_4l_is.html/BI/6633/KBID/7226/kw/CA2004004IS/DFF/d10-v2-t1-xCA2004004IS) (with the internal TC engaged at 560mm) and the mega mega-pixel Canon EOS 5DS R. (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1119027-REG/canon_0582c002_eos_5ds_r_dslr.html/BI/6633/KBID/7226/kw/CAE5DSR/DFF/d10-v2-t1-xCAE5DSR) ISO 800. Evaluative metering (Auto dynamic range) around a base exposure of +2/3 stop: 1/125 sec. at f/5.6 in Av mode. WB = 4400K. Live View with 2-second timer.

I used Rear Focus/Live View Flexi-Zone AF to focus just this side of half way into the frame (and re-composed).

As for the image, don't be shy; all comments are welcome.

Hi Artie - I like the warmth yet misty feeling to this. The sunlit ridges give a nice counter to the shaded hills. The tractor tracks also add.

Basically what Rachel said. But what makes the image for me is the way the sun comes from the UL corner. The color and tonality really bring me back to summer mornings in the country side.

Hi Arthur...I love the sun light on each of the ridges of the rolling terrain and the crop sprayer tracks, particularly the looped track in the lower left, add lots of interest to this scene!

Hi Artie.. This is very nice.. I love the colour gradients and shadow play... It looks sort of noisy/grainy, not sure if thats the mist?

Great looking gradient color on the hills. Very nice use of repeating lines/forms. Should work wonderfully as large home wall hanger.

No mist and not much noise. But there is some posterization near the top...

An evocative study in line, contour, colour and fine texture here Artie.
