One more white bird, and an interloper. The pelican's head angle is a tad off, but I got a kick out of the juxtaposition of the oof plover for size comparison. (Although maybe not everyone's cup of tea.) From Ding Darling NWR on the morning of Thanksgiving Day 4 years ago. Full frame.

Bill your mention of the Ding Darling reserve brings back some happy memories for me a really wonderful place.Personally I don't mind the head angle on the big one and looks like the exposure on the bird looks very good, great the way the little guy is caught in the reflection of the big one.

The light and exposure look great and I like the details in the pelican. Pretty cool that you caught the Sandpiper right in the reflection of the white pelican. Well done

Good one, Bill. I like the reflection in the reflection. Nice detail in the whites, with beautiful light and BG.
