Impression.

(I understand that there is a new version of Impression, but I have not had the time to try it yet)

I like the action that you captured, and the effect of Impression on the water. It looks like it is reflecting clouds in the sky.

I agree with Wendy about the water. Both its color and variability are attractive, but they don't steal the show from the swans. I like the white and little bit of orange with the blue.

If I weren't in the middle of something new I'm trying with Glow, I'd copy this to Photoshop and try cropping some off the bottom even though it'd mean losing some of the water.

Nice work with impression. Looked closely and now agree with Dennis re a bit off the bottom, but I'd add a bit off the right so that there is more room to 'go to' than to have 'come from.'

Dennis & Hazel,

Here is a cropped version. What do you think?

I like it better for two reasons. It brings the swans closer (less foreground), and it moves the swans -- at least their center of gravity -- lower in the image.

Agree with Dennis. Makes them much more alive, moving.

I agree with Hazel...the swans really come alive now.

A great application of Impression that really captures the motion of the swans and adds a wonderful texture & color variation to the water. Well done! Posting 2 edges out posting 1, as per Dennis' explanation.

Hi, Mitch, sorry I'm late but I love your application of Impressions (and the base image) and I agree that the crop improves the image. Nice job:S3:
