I was really happy the way this turned out with the water tension around the body and the water bubbles, but I know you guys will call me out on the tight left side, as it breaks the flow of the line in the water tension. I would love to shoot it again, but don't think he's still sitting there. :D I shot it tight as I wanted the head to be in your face when you opened it. Shot wide open, to soften the BG as it is somewhat cluttered, and just wanted the eyes in focus. Fuji S5, Sigma 180, tripod, f/3.5

Wow..nicely done Mike...Mr. frog looks like he is poping out of a liquid painting... I like this effect...How did you get the water to look like this?

Very cool image Mike with lots of impact. I think you've achieved your aim here with flying colours!!!

The pose of the frog's head is perfect, select dof right on, as you said it is a little tight on the left

Hey Gus, by just shooting wide open f/3.5, it gave that nice soft look in the BG. The frog was in the right position to create the cool water tension. Some might think to use a polarizer to lose the sheen on the water, but that sheen adds a nice look and blocks out the clutter below the water surface, so you don't want to eliminate it.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for photographic frogs but so far...nada! This is lovely, Mike. The DOF really makes it for me.

Very nice perspective Mike. Different. The water ripple makes it very special frame.
