Like the details and color tone. Well exposed. If mine & in this case I would choose central position of dragonfly in the frame. TFS.

I simply don't understand how you guys can approach these dragonflies for such detailed close images. My experience with dragonflies is that they fly if I just look at them! Prefer posting 2. Great details and nice contrast with the soft brown bkgd.

Thanks Nancy- Photographing them can be really hard or dead easy!
Some will return to the same perch over and over again. It is possible to just focus on the perch and wait.!!
