One of the wolves of Seacrest Wolf Preserve, same place from Jim Caldwell's post a few days ago where I held a workshop last fall. This is Chinook, an alpha male of the British Columbia subspecies of Gray Wolf, who makes only rare appearances out of the woods. Taken at sunset I was fortunate that he stepped into a spotlight of sun through the trees for a split second.

Very nice with those eyes. The lighting is very moody which I really like.

With a little more room at the bottom this would have been killer!!! The lighting is so awesome!

Very nice atmosphere! I agree a little more room at the bottom would have been nice. The eyes look a bit too bright for my taste.

Jason I love the mood of this image and those eyes, WOW. As mentioned I wish you would have included the entire leg. Your other option would be to crop in tight for a head portrait. I think that would look good also.
