Another stack. I acquired more frames including ones to keep the stem in focus, but then didn't use the stem shots in the final stack. Probably about 30 frames composited.
Flashes in front and behind through white plexiglas.

Thats different Ron. Eye catching indeed. Tried a vertical pre3sentation ??

Thanks, John. I did, but went this way partly because on the web you get penalized in pixels with verticals--probably not the best reason...

Good point Ron
Mind you I get penalised in pixels all the time !

Beautiful love the range of subtle colours I like the composition, tight crop good idea because too much bright white can be detracting.

Very dramatic with the white bkgd, and those delicate pink curves are luscious! This has an abstract quality and I think it would be stunning framed and hung in a series of similar images! I love the images you produce with the stacking and remote tethering techniques. Something I want to seriously try at some point.

Very nice work Ron. I'd be inclined to brighten the image (or maybe just the flower) a bit.

Thanks, all.
Jerry, I agree about brightening. For the high key I should trust my eye and forget about the histogram. Here is a repost, it happens to be a different stack that includes the stem in focus, but brightened considerably.
