I like the bird but would love to see the whole thing a bit lighter,nice pose with the bird looking out of the frame.

A beautiful bird with a great song (and weird call). I like the perky pose and fuzzy perch. The background is OK for the most part, but with the bottom right being not as effective with the brighter blotches. As posted I would have preferred more room for the composition with additional space top and right. Perfect head angle you got!

Keith, I appreciate your comment. While the histogram supports your point about the pic being dark, I tried but did not like the lighter versions. 162684
