Hi Stuart,

I Recently purchased this camera. I am moving from Nikon D7100. I did not see any issues related to battery performance. I did not use snapbridge.

I heard that battery life is less on this camera. I have a second battery as well.

I am planning to take it for a full day of shooting.

Thanks
Krishna

Put camera in airplane mode if you haven't.

Stuart:

I have used it extensively, and the battery life is pretty reasonable, 1200 shots per battery with modest chimping. You should read the detailed discussion of this issue on Thom Hogans site, he covers some of the variables that can effect battery life.

Dont want to sabotage the post but how are you finding the camera? Worth the money or better stick to full frame?

Camera is Absolutely Stunning. This is my primary body. ha ha only body. My Previous Camera is Nikon D7100.

Its well worth the investment to get this body. Other cameras which I though about before I went with this camera is Nikon D750. (Though I will get a used one for less price sometime next year which will be used for Landscapes). I wanted low light action shots which is why I choose this one. (for AF and high ISO capability).
