From a few weeks back, and while visiting several waterfalls in the north of Portugal, Vila de Rei i chose a different approach for this almost untouched waterfall.

Techs:
D7000 10mm, ƒ/16, 1s, ISO 100

Very nice to see the view down a waterfall! It is a lovely composition. You might want to clone out the one bright leaf along the lower right edge.

The very warm color is appealing but I wonder about a version with it toned down just a little.

A lovely scene Luis, good call on composing from the top of the waterfall - makes for a very inviting image.
I think you can adjust color balance to reduce yellows and greens a tad, should bring out more tonal detail?

Hi Luis

I Like your different approach.. well done. Agree with Morkel that the greens and yellows are a bit strong, but the water colour looks right, so maybe a bit of selective colour correction required on the greens. I also would have liked to see all of the rock (Plus a little clearance) on the bottom edge. Very nice image..

All have been said. Very interesting composition and it's really beautiful. Which 10mm lens is this, Luis?

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I used a CPL, which warmed the picture a bit, i will retouch this in PS.

@Adhika the 10mm is the Sigma 10-20mm.

HI Luis, Great choice of perspective and the two minor issues have already been pointed out.

Hi Luis, two minor issues mentioned that are easily corrected...I quite enjoy this composition as we do not get to see many where the view follows the river over the cascade...it is a nice perspective to capture. Well done!
