Something a little different. From the Caroni Swamp in Trinidad in March. Conditions were not optimum -- this was shot from a bobbing boat filled with several dozen twitchy twitchers, nearing dusk as groups of Ibis started coming in to their island roost for the night. This was 94% of full-frame, and alas, was as close as we were allowed to get to these spectacular birds. Tough to get good wing positions on a dozen birds. I evicted two overlapping pairs, and moved one outlier into the position vacated by one of the evicted pairs.

D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 6400, 1/1600s @ f/7.1 manual, Gitzo and Mongoose. Levels adjustment, desaturation, Topaz DeNoise, USM.

Wow, fantastic birds! I love the colors, and all the different wing positions, nice and sharp, well done!
