Our shores are full of birds there days. I went out two days ago and spent way too much time shooting. This was taken at last light, small part cropped off for composition and a distant bird removed.

So envious Lorant.! This is my bogey bird. Wanted to do one for years. Even went to the Camargue and still no luck!
This is a lovely shot in all respects.- viewpoint- background- bird . You should be chuffed with this one no doubt.

This one is a beauty, Lorant. Pose, exposure, gorgeous fg/bg all wonderful. Nice low POV. These are such incredibly elegant birds, but we don't often get to see the full extent of their long legs, especially with toe just touching the water. Very nicely done. You might consider removing the sharpening halo on head and bill, but no biggee.
