Due to ongoing construction we were not allowed to be at ground level at the Visitor Center in Algonquin P.P. this year.
I set up on the viewing platform three story high and was hoping that a Grosbeak will land in the tree at eye level and it eventually did.
Thanks for looking.

Karl you have really captured the wintry scene with those snow covered needles and that cloudy bg ,very nice colours and sharp detail on the bird, lovely shot.

Georgeous bird Karl. Whites handled really well on bird and twig snow.
Cracking image. About faultless I reckon. I suppose all there is left to do is flip it !!

Beautiful. I love the yellow feather! I assume it must have been a painful wait with the cold? How long did you wait? This is worth it though!

Worth the wait. I guess it paid to be up in the trees. What a splendid image in all respects.

Both images are great, Karl. Love the slightly open beak, the nice colors, the snow on the pine and the good angle the bird gave you. TFS.

Beautiful looking image Karl. The colours on the bird are awesome, and the snow takes it up a notch. Nice capture.

Awesome winter feel here (if ever winter can feel awesome:t3). Great yellows, and the perch is top notch and the background very appealing too. I would clone out the small bright white speck near the neck though, as it does not add anything.

A lovely winter painting. I like the bird looking to our right but not sure why :) a

Beautiful bird, nicely shown. A lovely winter scene. I remember these birds when I live up north, they always appeared at the feeders with the first snow storm. Thank you for sharing, Karl.
